Thinning is different for women

Women rarely lose hair in the clear pattern men do. More often the parting widens, the crown thins evenly and the ponytail gets smaller. That changes what a system has to do: instead of replacing a bald area, it usually adds density while your own hair stays part of the style.

For that we use toppers and integration systems, which sit over or blend through your hair. For complete hair loss, such as alopecia totalis or during and after chemotherapy, a full-cap system replaces the hair entirely and is shaped to your head.

All of them use 100% human hair, so you can wash, blow-dry, curl and colour-match them the way you would your own.

What You Can Expect

Built around the hair you have, not instead of it

Toppers for the parting

A topper covers the top and parting and blends into your own lengths. Ideal when thinning is concentrated on top.

Integration for diffuse thinning

Your own hair is drawn through a fine mesh, so the system adds density everywhere without covering your hair.

During and after chemotherapy

We plan timing and the base with your doctor's advice in mind. Sensitive scalps get softer bases and gentler bonds.

Long hair that moves

Lengths, layers and waves are cut and styled on you, so the hair moves like your own.

Discreet from the first call

Your photos stay in your consultation file and are never published without your written permission.

Wash and style as usual

Shampoo, blow-dry, curl or straighten. We show you which products and temperatures to use.

Which option suits your hair loss?

If your thinning is concentrated on top and your lengths are still healthy, a topper is usually enough. If the thinning is spread across the whole head, an integration system adds density without hiding your own hair. If there is little or no hair left, a full-cap system is the answer. In the free analysis we look at your photos and tell you which of the three makes sense, and why.

Hair systems during and after chemotherapy

Many women want hair ready before treatment starts. A full-cap system can be prepared in advance, so it is there when you need it. While the scalp is sensitive we use softer bases and bonds that are easy to remove, and we always follow the advice of your oncologist. Our article on hair systems for women explains timing, scalp care and what to ask your medical team.

Alopecia areata and totalis

Alopecia patches can change over months. Partial systems can be adjusted as they do, and full-cap systems work for alopecia totalis. Because the base is breathable and the hair is human, you can keep wearing it through the ups and downs of the condition.

Women's Hair Systems: Questions

Will a topper damage the hair I still have?

Not when it is the right weight and attachment for your hair. Clip-in toppers suit women with enough hair to anchor them; bonded toppers spread the load when your own hair is fine.

Can I have long hair?

Yes. Systems are available in long lengths and are cut and styled on you, including layers and waves.

When should I get a system if I am starting chemotherapy?

Ideally before treatment begins, so it can be prepared and ready. Talk to your oncologist about scalp care; we plan the base and bond around their advice.

Can I colour or heat-style it?

It is human hair, so you can blow-dry, curl and straighten it at moderate temperatures. Colour changes are best done by us, because the hair on a system does not regrow.

Is the appointment private?

Yes. Book ahead and tell us if you prefer a quieter time of day. Your photos are used only for your consultation unless you give written permission.
